Privacy Policy
Roman PT is a chat-first fitness and nutrition coaching service. This policy explains how Roman handles account, messaging, subscription, coaching, and connected wearable data.
Information We Collect
- Contact and account details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, and linked messaging channels.
- Coaching messages, check-ins, goals, preferences, plan state, meal estimates, and workout feedback you send to Roman.
- Subscription and payment status from Stripe. Roman does not store full card numbers.
- Roman may connect health and fitness data through Terra when you choose to authorize a supported wearable or fitness source.
- Terra may let you choose supported providers, including WHOOP where enabled, Garmin, Fitbit, Oura, Google, Withings, Coros, Cronometer, and other sources enabled for Roman.
Wearable And Health Data
- Roman stores normalized daily summaries, sleep summaries, activity or workout summaries, provider connection status, and derived coaching signals for coaching context.
- Roman does not store raw provider payloads, GPS routes, continuous heart-rate samples, raw HealthKit exports, clinical data, body metrics from connected providers, or raw sample streams in this version.
- You can disconnect a wearable in the Roman portal, in Terra's authentication flow, or directly with the wearable provider.
How We Use Information
- To provide fitness and nutrition coaching, adapt your plan, schedule reminders, and respond to your messages.
- To manage your subscription, portal access, health app connections, exports, deletion requests, safety checks, and support/debugging.
- To protect the service from abuse, diagnose service issues, and maintain audit records for sensitive account actions.
Sharing
- Roman shares information only with service providers needed to run the product, including hosting, database, messaging, billing, AI processing, and wearable integration providers.
- Roman does not sell your personal information and does not use connected health or wearable data for advertising.
- We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or with your direction.
Your Choices
- Use the Roman portal to export your plan data, request deletion, unlink channels, and disconnect health apps.
- Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. You can reconnect later by following the onboarding flow again.
- You can revoke wearable access directly with the connected provider, including WHOOP, or through the Terra connection flow.
Retention And Security
- Roman keeps account, coaching, subscription, and health-summary data while needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve issues, or meet legal obligations.
- Deletion requests are processed through the portal and may exclude records Roman must retain for security, billing, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
- Roman uses access controls, signed webhooks, and secure hosted infrastructure, but no internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
